Incumbent Candidate for HESA President
ALM International Relations Candidate
This past year has been a wonderful journey not just for me or the board, but for the Extension School students we have served. I am running for HESA president because I feel that in the past few months in my position I was able to help bring strangers together. Students from all over the world have had the opportunity to be apart of the Extension School and apart of Harvard in ways that they haven't been before through HESA. We have created events, programs and initiatives to make that possible. I want to continue bridging that gap while taking on things that are valuable to my fellow students during their educational path. The board was able to accomplish so much this year, from global socials online, networking nights, HESA’s first ever Fantasy Ball, developing a new constitution, club socials, online forums, and winning grants, but there is still so much to do. I want to take HESA even further. We pushed a lot this year which was not easy since because this year was the first year we tried many new things. There are still a lot more we need to accomplish. I would like push the degree name change, have an online job fair, develop a new website, have HESA swag among many other things. This year was not perfect, but no success comes without difficulties and failures. I will continue to strive for the best on behalf of my fellow Extension Students.
