Announcing HESA's Newly-Elected Directors for 2019-20

May 1, 2019

Thank you to the many of you who took the time to learn about (and vote for) the candidates for Directors of the Harvard Extension Student Association. We congratulate all the candidates on running positive and professional campaigns.

The election for these roles has now closed.

As previously announced, the President-elect is Carmen Gardner (ALM Management/Finance candidate), and the Vice-President-elect is  Lauren Voler  (ALM Management/Finance candidate).

The Director of Communications election ended in a tie between two candidates: Arohi Bangera (ALM Liberal Arts candidate) and Brett Monson (ALM Management/Finance candidate). A special run-off election between these two candidates is open now, and will close on Monday, May 6th at 12:00pm (EDT). Ballots will be sent to all eligible voters on Wednesday, May 1st at 5:00pm (EDT).

Please note that the write-in options for Director of Club Affairs and Director of Technology have been passed along to the incoming President and Vice-President.

As we look forward to the incoming HESA administration, we also remind you that HESA’s current administration is still working hard and providing events and activities for students all the way up until their term ends on May 31. Keep an eye on the HESA website and Facebook to learn more about what they are working on.

Directors Election Now Open

The ballot is now open for the Director positions on the 2019-20 Harvard Extension Student Association's board.

The Harvard Extension Student Association (HESA) represents ALL students at Harvard Extension School. Please take the time to learn about each candidate before placing your vote. Candidates' statements, along with links to their candidacy videos, are gathered on the HESA Elections 2019 website.

The ballot has been sent to the email addresses on file for all degree candidates. The link is unique for each voter, and only allows one vote per link. If you would like to change your vote at a later date, please contact the HESA Elections Committee.

Voting will end on Monday, April 29th at 12pm (EDT).

It is not too late to nominate yourself for a Director position, for the term running from June 1, 2019 - May 31, 2020. Learn about the positions from the HESA constitution, and submit your nomination here by Wednesday, April 17, at 12:00 noon (EDT).
