Elections 2021 Applications (Pris & VP) Deadline

Applications are now being accepted for all elected positions on the 2020-21 Harvard Extension Student Association (HESA) board, including President and Vice-President.

We encourage applications from students seeking a distinctive leadership opportunity to represent Harvard Extension School students from all programs and across the globe. To be eligible, students must be HES degree candidates in good academic and disciplinary standing who can demonstrate their commitment to grow and develop as a leader in the HES community.

The HESA Constitution, found on the HESA website, includes a general description of each elected position.

The application period for HESA President and Vice President ends on Wednesday, March 31st at 12:00 p.m. (EDT). The application period for HESA Directors will remain open until Friday, April 9th at 12:00 p.m. (EDT).

Once candidates are confirmed by the Dean of Students Office (DSO) to meet eligibility requirements, the elections committee will be in touch to discuss campaign and election details. Applicants will meet via Zoom with HESA's advisor, Mark Addison, and Associate Dean of Students, Shirley Greene, before their candidacy is confirmed. Applicants are not permitted to campaign prior to receiving DSO approval.

Are you an inspiring student leader interested in supporting positive change? We invite you to complete the Call for Applications form by the dates outlined above.

To contact the HESA Elections Committee with any questions, please email Mark Addison in the Dean of Students Office at mark_addison@fas.harvard.edu.
